About Planarium

Planarium is an independent UK calculator platform designed to help people understand what changes at work could mean for their pay and pension.

The current tools focus on Civil Service pay and Alpha pension planning, including take-home pay, salary changes and retirement scenarios.

Calculations are estimates based on published rules and clearly stated modelling assumptions. Where relevant, Planarium shows the official sources used so you can understand how a result was produced.

Planarium is independent. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by HMRC, Civil Service Pensions, the Cabinet Office or the UK Government.

Planarium provides information and estimates only. It does not provide financial advice.

More tools may be added over time based on what users find useful.

Planarium is currently in beta. Current beta features are free to use, and paid plans may be introduced as the service develops.
